As a web designer there are many questions that we see on a regular basis. Many of them can be answered with a straight forward yes or no, but most all depend on the project. So here are a list of things we can answer with some certainty, some that cannot be answered at all, and some that are just fun.
This is the second most common question asked, and there is never easy to answer. Due to the back and forth nature of the web design & development each job is unique. We have been doing this long enough however to gauge the depth of your needs and definitely give you an estimate. As a rule of thumb you can expect the average size web project to take three (3) months from first meeting to official launch. If you have only a few pages this could be considerably shorter. 
This is the MOST common question! Unfortunately it is similar to the 'how long will it take' question . Once we meet and decide your needs a formal agreement will submitted and you will know exactly what you are paying for and when. Magnetic Web Media bills by the hour and a breakdown of hours proposed for your job will be provided with your agreement. The only way your bill will ever change is if you decide to make radical changes or additions to the project during the build.
After meet face-to-face or over the phone, and agree on the needed elements for your project we can begin building a preliminary time estimate. If you agree to the proposed estimate a formal agreement will be produced. Once this document is signed and retainer is received, work can begin the next day. Any delays for any reason will be communicated before the final agreement is sent.
